In all of my years in the supplement business I have never come across a product like organic sulfur that does so many different things for the human body. The list is endless as far as what it can help. Organic sulfur is one of the most important minerals that we need in the human body. I use the analogy of sulfur being like a locomotive freight train.

Pesticides and fortified foods are causing massive sulfur deficiency among many other problems. It isn’t just sulfur, and I don’t want to over emphasize the sulfur. I just want to emphasize it from the standpoint of this being the one supplement that I see the most impact with people. You also need other minerals, but sulfur is the catalyst. The calcium, magnesium, potassium, and different minerals that are in the ground, they all hook up with sulfur. Sulfur drives them from the soil into the roots of the plants.

When you spray pesticides on crops they seep into the soil. If you look at the roots of a plant under a microscope, you will see that there are all these tiny microbes attached to the roots.  These microbes are your main components. They’re the main biological processes of life that transport minerals. They bring them into the plants. When pesticides go down into the ground they kill off a lot of these microbes. There are U.S. NIH studies that actually prove that these pesticides kill off vital microbial components. This hinders the absorption of minerals and nutrition from the soil. The same thing happens in our digestive system.

We have flora or what’s called probiotics. We all know that these things work in conjunction with our immune system, but they also work in processing nutrients similar to how the soil microbes process nutrients. When you take antibiotics they can’t distinguish between good and bad bacteria. They kill off both. It causes an imbalance in the body that leads to yeast, fungus, and different overgrowths in the body.

Anyway, taking it back to the plants and sulfur, these pesticides have disrupted the sulfur cycle. How many people are consuming pesticides from their foods? Just about everybody. In addition to the pesticides killing off the microbes in the soil that are hindering the minerals, especially sulfur, pesticides are also disrupting your gut flora. In fact, there’s research now that’s validating that glyphosate, also known as Roundup, causes disruption of microbes in the human digestive system. They’re actually finding Roundup in our bodies.

This is why we need sulfur. It is one of the most beneficial and powerful detox agents known to man. If you’re not on sulfur in this toxic world today, you are in trouble. You are going be set up for disease because the fact is we cannot survive this overload of toxins. There’s toxins in our water, our food, our air, new cars, carpets, homes, you name it. We’re just inundated with chemicals and chemical exposure every single day. You have to get this garbage out of the body and one of the best ways to do it is sulfur. Prior to mass use of pesticides, we were able to handle toxins better. People were getting a lot of sulfur from their food intake that counters this negative effect. That’s why I say organic sulfurs is so important.

Let me touch on processed and fortified foods. In addition to all these plants that have been sprayed with pesticides we have fortified foods. They strip all of the nutrition out of whole grains such as wheat and barley. They remove the whole food vitamins, oils and everything beneficial that is there, because they want something that’s going stay stable on a shelf for years. They’ll take that dead food and fortify it with synthetic vitamins and inorganic minerals that aren’t going to do anything for your body. Some of them could be toxic. We’re deficient in nutrition from our foods and we’re deficient in nutrition because of what’s happening with the pesticides disrupting the soil.

Sulfur is one of the most important minerals. Anything you’re doing nutritionally is going to work better on sulfur. It’s going to carry more oxygen into your cells. It’s going to help eliminate toxins.

You need to take sulfur twice a day, one to two teaspoons is more than sufficient. Some people recommend higher dosages.
